13 weeks

Bennett enjoyed some awesome Daddy time this week! I had to go back to work on Tuesday...which was a very sad and very hard thing to do! 3 months sure did go by fast!! So while I started back at work, Matt took a week of vacation to hang out with "Baby B" before he starts daycare next week. I think they had some great bonding time...and I got to experience for the first time how awesome it is to come home to Bennett after a long day at work! This week Bennett tried his exer-saucer for the first time! He loves it and is still learning all of the fun things it can do. Bennett and Emma also celebrated their 3 month birthdays at Aunt Francine's house and Grammy made her fantastic ice cream sandwich cake to celebrate! All in all it was a pretty awesome week for Bennett!!

3 months

12 weeks!

Bennett had an awesome 12 week photo session...so awesome in fact that I had a terrible time just choosing a couple pictures. :) This week Bennett started using his Bumbo chair and he loves it!! He really enjoys sitting up and enjoys his new view point sitting in the chair. We also attended a highschool graduation party for my cousin Matthew...so there was a lot of fun cousin time between Bennett, Emma and Mason. Check it out!!

Bennett - 11 weeks!!

What a busy week!! Matt, Bennett and I drove to Manhattan to attend Bennett's Aunt Anne's graduation from K-State. Besides attending the ceremony, we visited City Park with Grandma and Grandpa Wertzberger and played on the awesome play ground! I was super excited because they had what I call "mommy swings" that you can sit in and swing with your baby. Bennett loved swinging and I loved it, too! The next day we made the trip to Lawrence for Bennett's Uncle Joe's graduation from KU. It was such a hot day, but all things considered, Bennett was a trooper!! My First Mother's Day!

My first Mother's Day was a great one! Matt and Bennett surprised me with an amethyst ring, which is Bennett's birthstone! It's so pretty. We spent our day at my Uncle John and Aunt Jamie's farm! It was a little rainy so we weren't able to spend to much time outside, but it was a great day out on the farm!! Here are some pictures from the day, plus a few other random pictures from yesterday.
