21

We spent the weekend in Manhattan visiting Grandma and Grandpa Wertzberger and Aunt Anne! On Saturday Bennett, Grandma, Anne and I went to City Park to play on the play ground! We had a great time on the swings and even went down the slide! We met Grandpa and Matt for lunch at SoLong Saloon in Aggieville...one of my favorite restaurants/bars (best Bloody Mary's ever and delish fried pickels) and then walked around and visited the shops in Aggieville. We had dinner at the Country Club that evening and then went back to City Park to play and even visited the brand new awesome splash park! I can't wait until Bennett is big enough to run around in the park! We are really looking forward to taking him to a football game or two in the fall!

Lately the weather has been wonderful and we have been taking lots of walks around our neighborhood. Bennett really loves being outside! It's crazy to think that it's almost August!

Lounging for his photo shoot. We got a lot of good pics this time!

I love those smiles!

One of my favorite shots. He looks so darling!

Eating his hand...

Scooting around on the blanket.

On the "mommy swings" in Manhattan.

Bennett loves his Aunt Anne...and his hands, as usual...

Posing in front of the waterfall on the golf course.

A shot with Daddy. Matt can't wait until Bennett is old enough to go golfing!

The new splash park in Manhattan! It is so cool!

Bennett putting his feet in the water. The water was pretty cold!

I love this picture! It kind of looks like he has a mohawk! His hair is really coming in thick on top...not so much on the sides. :)

Swinging with Grandpa...

...and Daddy!

Grandma rocked Bennett to sleep. He looks so comfy!

Floor play at home! He has recently discovered his toes and he loves to put them in his mouth.

Tummy time. We keep trying to get him to roll over again and so far it has only happened once!

Standing at his play table! So talented!

Playing with his toes.

I'm pretty sure this was right after Bennett rolled over. It seems like we get every toy possible out as "bait."

Minnie giving Bennett a kiss.

Hanging out with Daddy.
Sucking on his toes! SO cute!

Smiley smiley!

Bennett loves his Daddy! Check out that foot!

Bennett is really great at multi-tasking.

Laying down with Minnie mouse.

At the park just up the street. It is so nice having the park so close!

On the monkey bars. He looks awesome in his K-State hat.

On the bouncy bridge.

Mmmmm.... relaxing on our walk.

Bennett really enjoys his new bouncer! It plays music and lights up when he jumps up and down.

Check out those legs!

20 weeks...

What an exciting week! Bennett went to his first Royal's game! Grammy, Poppy, Sherry, Matt, Mason and Emma, and Matt, Bennett and I (whew....that's a mouthful!) went to cheer on the Royals as they played Tampa Bay! This was my first game this season so I got to see all the new renovations to the stadium! It looks great and definitely needed the facelift! Our seats were awesome and Bennett loved all the action! He even received a certificate for attending his first ever Royals game! So cool! Bennett borrowed Mason's old Royals hat to wear to the game and looked pretty awesome wearing it! The game started at 7:05...and since Bennett's bedtime is 8:00, he definitely stayed out late! He finally fell asleep in the 6th inning and we left at the top of the 8th. He was such a trooper! Enjoy these pictures from week 20!
20 weeks! Such a big boy in his Bumbo!

Always so smiley!

Enjoying a little mommy time.

I love this picture. What a fan!

Bennett and Daddy took a time out from watching the game to pose for a picture.

So big!

Happy camper.

Bennett fell asleep in the 6th inning. He was having way to much fun!

Woo hooo! Tummy time!

I had to post this picture of Emma. Isn't she darling?! I love her blue eyes!

19 weeks! Friends galore!

Week 19 was a busy one! Bennett enjoyed two playdates, one with his friend Kellen and the other with his friend Gabby! You may remember Kellen from a previous post in March. Kellen is 4 days older than Bennett and is super cute! This was the first time they had seen eachother since they were newborns and of course they enjoyed hanging out together. Mommy and Daddy also enjoyed getting out of the house and getting together with Kellen's parents Mike and Shannon. We got some great shots of the boys in their Bumbo seats...they were quite the models! Bennett also got a chance to hang out with our friend's David and Samantha's daughter Gabriella, who is two years old. Gabby is going to be a big sister in October, so she got some good practice with Bennett. They enjoyed playing together and sharing their toys. She even gave him a few kisses which was very sweet. Other than the play dates, Bennett enjoyed plenty of tummy time. He is getting so strong!

He is getting a little more sure of himself on his feet and LOVES to stand!

Sitting up with his bongos...briefly before falling over. We aren't quite there just yet.

Okay...I don't love him watching TV and we try not to let it happen, but Matt was watching golf and I had to take this picture. Bennett loved watching it, too!

Hello!!

Bennett and Gabby...she loved all of his toys!

Friends just hanging out on the floor.

She is going to be a great big sister!

Bennett hanging out in his exersaucer.

Yum!!

He's getting so big! We have already raised the height of the seat!

Bennett and Kellen hanging out in their Bumbo chairs! Bennett likes looking at his fabulous little toes.

They're buddies.

Yep...darling friends!

Tummy time fun with lots of smiles!!

Minnie loves Bennett. And he loves her, too.

Look at those eyes!

Bennett has started scooting around a little bit. His legs have the right momentum for crawling, so when that day comes I just know he is going to take off!

"Tah-dah! I hope you liked my pictures!!"
