Bennett David Wertzberger: K-S-U Wildcats! 27 weeks.

What a busy week! Friday morning, Bennett and Emma took their 6 month pictures together at Aunt Sherry's. The photographer was AWESOME and we had a really good time with the babies. We can't wait to see the pictures and hope the turned out well. This weekend we made the trip to Manhattan with Sherry, Matt, Mason and Emma to go to the first K-State game of the season...and the first K-State game for Bennett and Emma! Friday night we went the Power Play on Poyntz, which is basically a big purple street party and pep rally! There was live music, games, fireworks...and I was even able to grab Willie the Wildcat for a picture with Bennett! It was a really fun night and we all really enjoyed it! Saturday before the game we visited City Park and everyone got a chance to right the "mommy swings". Mason LOVED the park...I can't wait until Bennett is a little older so he can enjoy it more, too! We tailgated for a little while and then had a great time at the game! Bennett did awesome, loved cheering, and even made friends with everyone around him! We only stayed until halftime since the game started at 6:00 and then we ventured on back to Kansas City. It was a really fun weekend! I think we will be able to make one more game this season with Bennett! We are really looking forward to a game with Grandma and Grandpa Wertzberger...they were in Cancun while we were in Manhattan so we missed seeing them! Enjoy these pics from the weekend!

Bennett has started scooting. He gets his knees underneath him and then uses his head to move forward. He wants to start crawling so bad and gets so frustrated when he isn't able to go where he wants to. He is definitely making progress though!

Bennett was enjoying his bottle just before kick off. Then when the game started, he got a bit freaked out by all the screaming and started crying. The rest of the game was smooth sailing.
