20 weeks...

What an exciting week! Bennett went to his first Royal's game! Grammy, Poppy, Sherry, Matt, Mason and Emma, and Matt, Bennett and I (whew....that's a mouthful!) went to cheer on the Royals as they played Tampa Bay! This was my first game this season so I got to see all the new renovations to the stadium! It looks great and definitely needed the facelift! Our seats were awesome and Bennett loved all the action! He even received a certificate for attending his first ever Royals game! So cool! Bennett borrowed Mason's old Royals hat to wear to the game and looked pretty awesome wearing it! The game started at 7:05...and since Bennett's bedtime is 8:00, he definitely stayed out late! He finally fell asleep in the 6th inning and we left at the top of the 8th. He was such a trooper! Enjoy these pictures from week 20!
20 weeks! Such a big boy in his Bumbo!

Always so smiley!

Enjoying a little mommy time.

I love this picture. What a fan!

Bennett and Daddy took a time out from watching the game to pose for a picture.

So big!

Happy camper.

Bennett fell asleep in the 6th inning. He was having way to much fun!

Woo hooo! Tummy time!

19 weeks! Friends galore!

Week 19 was a busy one! Bennett enjoyed two playdates, one with his friend Kellen and the other with his friend Gabby! You may remember Kellen from a previous post in March. Kellen is 4 days older than Bennett and is super cute! This was the first time they had seen eachother since they were newborns and of course they enjoyed hanging out together. Mommy and Daddy also enjoyed getting out of the house and getting together with Kellen's parents Mike and Shannon. We got some great shots of the boys in their Bumbo seats...they were quite the models! Bennett also got a chance to hang out with our friend's David and Samantha's daughter Gabriella, who is two years old. Gabby is going to be a big sister in October, so she got some good practice with Bennett. They enjoyed playing together and sharing their toys. She even gave him a few kisses which was very sweet. Other than the play dates, Bennett enjoyed plenty of tummy time. He is getting so strong!

He is getting a little more sure of himself on his feet and LOVES to stand!

Sitting up with his bongos...briefly before falling over. We aren't quite there just yet.

Okay...I don't love him watching TV and we try not to let it happen, but Matt was watching golf and I had to take this picture. Bennett loved watching it, too!

Hello!!

Bennett and Gabby...she loved all of his toys!

Friends just hanging out on the floor.

She is going to be a great big sister!

Bennett hanging out in his exersaucer.

Yum!!

He's getting so big! We have already raised the height of the seat!

Bennett and Kellen hanging out in their Bumbo chairs! Bennett likes looking at his fabulous little toes.

They're buddies.

Yep...darling friends!

Tummy time fun with lots of smiles!!

Minnie loves Bennett. And he loves her, too.

Look at those eyes!

Bennett has started scooting around a little bit. His legs have the right momentum for crawling, so when that day comes I just know he is going to take off!

"Tah-dah! I hope you liked my pictures!!"

18 EEKS!

Woo hoo!

Bennett experienced a lot of new things this week! My parent's neighborhood held their annual fireworks display on the 2nd, and Bennett loved them! He really enjoyed all the bright colors and wasn't even scared by the loud "booms." Bennett rolled over for the first time on the 3rd!! He went from his tummy to his back! Matt, my mom, and I all witnessed it. He rolled over 4 times that day and hasn't since. I think it is his party trick - he only pulls it out on certain occassions. 3 weeks later, we are still waiting for him to dazzle us again. :) We ventured to the pool on the 4th of July, but because it had been so rainy all week, the water was freezing! So no swimming for us! Sherry and I did put Bennett and Emma's feet in the water though so they could splash around. There was plenty of good cousin time on the 4th! Here are some pictures from the week!

Celebrating with a smidge of drool....

Right after Bennett rolled over from his tummy to back.

Lots of tummy time...

He is so good at pushing himself up. It's no wonder that he rolled from his tummy to back first!

I love his eyes in this one!

Another pose!

Eating his hands.

Bennett in his stroller gearing up for a walk. His binky is his favorite thing now...

He had plenty of entertainment along the walk...

Hanging out with cousins Emma and Mason. They are all getting so big!

They look so happy!!

They love each other. Isn't Emma a doll?

More good cousin time. Bennett already knows how to share. (Yes, those are all his toys.) :)

Grammy with Bennett before the fireworks.

Family pic.

Pool day on the 4th! It was a little chilly.

Our friends Chris and DiAnne from DC sent this shirt for Bennett right after he was born! Thanks guys! He would be a very handsome president!

The water was too chilly for swimming, but not for putting our feet in! ...And of course Bennett was eating his hands....

Enjoying the water with Sherry and Emma.
