The Big Two-Six! ....26 weeks....

This weekend while Matt was in Manhattan, Bennett and I ventured to the zoo with Sherry, Matt, Mason and Emma. It was a pretty warm day so we didn't stay to terribly long. While we were there though we had a really close encounter with an elephant and got to see a couple hippos snuggling. Bennett stayed in his stroller for most of the visit...he was enjoying the walk.

Sherry and I also made Bennett and Emma homemade baby food this weekend! It was so much fun! We both spent $6 and together we made sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, squash, and mangos! We used frozen and organic fruits and vegetables and everything is so colorful and tastes great! We are definitely going to do that again. Our freezer is full of baby food! That evening, Bennett tried his first baby food...carrots! His first experience with carrots wasn't a great one...in fact he really didn't like them at all and started crying! He has had them a few more times now and loves them! Feeding him vegetables has been a lot of fun.

Here are some pictures from this week!

Bennett looks like such a big boy in his new shirt and tough guy jeans!

I took tons of pictures of him because he looked like such a stud. He's even wearing his new shoes!

Little love bug.

Hello!

I LOVE this picture!

Close up on Bennett's tough guy jeans. Matt and I went all over the city trying to find those at The Gap. They were even sold out of his size online. There was only one pair left in the city and surrounding areas, so of course we took a trip to pick them up! They were DEFINITELY worth it!

Close up of the awesome elephant! He was right by the fence!

Darling hippos...

Bennett relaxing at the zoo with his foot up.

Me and the dude.

Bennett and Emma in the double stroller. Grammy took them for a long walk and the babies enjoyed a long nap!

First bite of carrots...

Bennett was not a fan at all...

Sad.

Another bite.

What a face!
