What a weekend! Bennett went to the pool twice and visited the zoo for the first time! Friday night we went to our friend Joey's pool and hung out with friends! The water was nice and warm and Bennett had a great time swimming. Sunday Bennett, Matt and I went with Aunt Sherry, Uncle Matt, Mason and Emma to the Kansas City Zoo and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! Bennett was asleep for the beginning of the visit but woke up just in time for the ferry ride to the Africa part of the zoo. We saw rhinos, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants and lots of turtles! We took a lot of great pictures too...which you will notice below...it was just way to hard to choose which ones to post! When we got home, Bennett took a nap and then we headed to Grammy and Poppy's pool in the afternoon! The water was pretty cold, so we hung out in the baby pool. Bennett loves "jumping" off the side of the pool and even splashes in the water. I really want to take a baby swim class with him when he is older. He was even kicking his feet! Bennett was so worn out from his exciting Sunday that he didn't wake up this morning until 4:30am! Woo hoo!!! I captured A LOT of smiles from Benny Boy this week...so enjoy the pics!!
