What a weekend for Bennett! Grandma and Grandpa Wertzberger were in town, so we got to spend a lot of time with them. Saturday, Uncle Pat and Aunt Jen had a party at their house, so we spent the day there and got a time to visit with family and friends. Bennett got to hang out with his friend Gabby, too! Gabby ( 2 and a half years old), who will be a big sister in October, has decided that she would like her Mommy and Daddy to name her soon-to-be little sister "Baby Bennett." So cute! Sunday afternoon we went to the pool with Mason and Emma. Bennett played in the baby pool in his yellow raft! As soon as I put him in the raft he took off!! He walked all over the pool by himself! It was so fun to watch and luckily I caught some of it on video! He was so proud of himself. We also played in the big pool and Bennett got to "jump" off the side of the pool with Mason. It was a great afternoon of swimming! I can't wait to take him again this weekend!
Let's see...what else is new with Bennett... Bennett has started to sit up by himself! He supports himself with his arms right now but sometimes will even sit without help. It's pretty amazing how he caught on so quickly. Bennett is still enjoying a lot of floor time...which you will see in the pictures below. He is doing great and is changing everyday! We are excited to take him to his 6 month checkup in a couple weeks. Enjoy the pictures from this week!!!
