We're Home!

A lot has happened over the past few days! Matt, Bennett and I came home from the hospital Sunday afternoon. We pulled into our driveway and were greeted with a decorated house; signs, balloons, streamers, the works! Our friends Amy and Eric did a lot of the decorating, and my mom added balloons and a sign that was finger painted by our nephew, Mason. It was definitely a warm welcome and thanks so much to all that contributed! It really made us feel special. Our house has definitely been hopping with visitors...and Bennett has been quite the host!

Bennett is doing great! He is super snuggly and loves to nap during the day...not so much during the night. Every night has been different so far, so we'll see what is in store as the evenings continue. Bennett definitely has a big appetite, and Matt and I have quickly caught on to his hunger signals. Since we have been home, Bennett has gotten his first sponge bath, been to the pediatrition, enjoyed his first ride in his swing, and last night he ventured out to Grammy and Poppy's house for dinner. Bennett is also looking forward to Grandma and Grandpa Wertzberger's visit this weekend.
