Bennett is 1 Month Old!!

This Friday, Bennett celebrated his 1 month birthday! It's amazing to think how much he has changed in just one month...and crazier to think that one month has actually past since he was born!

Since the last post, Bennett has ventured out to his first restaurant, as well as a second restaurant. He has had enjoyed his first and second bottles, which at first he wasn't sure about, but soon figured it out and loved them! Bennett has started hitting the animals on his bouncy chair and occasionally pulls the frog to play music (which I'm sure is pretty unintentional, but it still happens). Bennett has also had his first play date with his friend Kellen, who is four days older than he is. The two became fast friends, and when Bennett started to get fussy because it was lunch time, Kellen let Bennett suck on his t-shirt to calm him down. Can you say BFF? Overall, Bennett has been more talkative and wide-eyed lately and loves to check out his surroundings.

Currently Bennett has been going through what the lactation consultant and nurse practitioner are calling a "growth spurt". Basically this boils down to Bennett being constantly hungry and acting fussy if he is not eating. This has been very interesting for Mom, and both Matt and I are curious to find out how much he weighs at his one month appointment on Wednesday. I think we are through most of the "growth spurt", but the boy still loves to eat! Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.

All wrapped up in his frog robe!

And of course, matching slippers...

Wild man.

"Hey, where did my binky go?"

"Tah-Dah!" 3 Weeks old!

Stretched out!

Kellen even let Bennet suck on his sleeve when he lost his binky.
